I’ve had a few messages asking exactly what this entails. It’s really for single singer/songwriters rather than bands per se. Basically, once we’ve discussed the song and the style required the composer sends me a basic recording of them performing the song to a set tempo. I can then add as little or as much as they like including bass, drums, percussion, guitars, keyboards, backing vocals etc. Then I can send them stems or mix and master as required. All for one incredibly reasonable one-off fee. For considerably less than taking a crack band into the studio they can have me covering most of the instruments to a high level of playing, arrangement and production advice, and recording and mixing to a high level. I record in treated, great sounding spaces with quality gear including Gibson, Fender, Headstrong, Warm Audio, Audio Technica, Shure, Universal Audio, Focusrite, and Apogee.
