South Auckland based multi-talented Siavani brings us what I can only describe as audio beauty. Partnering with his son Lively, the single Love Look Easy is absurdly catchy, beautifully melodic, and one of the most Pacifica sounding R & B songs I have heard in quite some time. Siavani has caught something inherently Polynesian in this track. I’ve said a number of times, there are sounds that only people from this neck of the woods seem able to create. This song sits very high in that tree.
I have been to Samoa three times. Rarotonga once, and Tahiti once. This melody echoes those places for me. And the sentiment? From the EPK: Love Look Easy is a soul-stirring composition that transcends generations to salute the magic of romance, the strength found in vulnerability, and the blissful moments that define true love. Lyrically the track speaks volumes, encapsulating the profound journey of love, trust, and enduring commitment. Painting a vivid portrait of a love story that defies the odds, Love Look Easy echoes the timeless essence of love and devotion, steadfast through the highs and lows and everything in-between.
There’s a cute little lyric video courtesy of ill.Estrator to accompany, and frankly it needs no more. It’s such a joyous, sentimental tune. Studio work has made it a well-balanced track with cleverly up-volume featured instruments, and some beautiful guitarwork from Christmas “Gatman” Ropati makes the ending all the more luscious.
This is a celebratory song that should be heard around the streets from every speaker. It should be at the barbie, at the beach, at the pub, everywhere. This is a summer song. We may not be getting the best one again this year but gorgeous ear worms like this song will help us remember the ones we do get.
Follow Siavani on all social platforms and download this track to your Spotty Fly. Really sweet song. I loved it.
