Fresh off the back of the release of their new EP, LIKE AN ACTRESS, New Zealand’s favourite indie-pop duo Foley have announced they’re returning home to tour.
The Sydney-based Foley will kick off the LIKE AN ACTRESSNew Zealand Tour in Christchurch at the Darkroom on Thursday, May 7, before heading north to Auckland at Whammy on Friday, May 8 and wrapping up in Wellington at Meow on Saturday, May 9.

Now based in Sydney, Foley have spent the last year playing back-to-back shows across the ditch and touring Asia, performing a headline show alongside NZ artist Paige in Seoul, as well as at the Zandari Festival (Seoul), and playing shows with Asian-Australian artist Nat Vazer in Daegu and Busan. In April, they will also support fellow NZ artist Muroki in Sydney and Melbourne.
And while it means that the dynamic duo – Ash Wallace and Gabe Everett – haven’t played their own headline tour on home ground in over a year, it will make their highly anticipated return to New Zealand for the LIKE AN ACTRESS Tour all the more sweeter.
“We can’t wait to see all of you across Aotearoa! AKA the best crowds in the world! We’re heading back to where our community started, where our first Foley fan tattoo happened and so many incredible memories. We can’t wait to do it all again and play a brand new show for our kiwi fans,” says Foley.
